Privacy policy

Since 25 May 2018, the provisions of the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the DSGVO) have applied throughout Europe. Below we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data carried out by Platforma in accordance with this new regulation (see Article 13 DSGVO). Please read our data protection information carefully. 1. Overview

The following data protection information informs you about the type and scope of processing of so-called personal data by Platforma. Personal data is information that can be directly or indirectly assigned to your person. Platforma offers you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. Once you fill in the subscription request form, we will verify your personality and upon verification add you to the mailing list.

At this point, your electronic contact data will be processed solely on the basis of your consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, click the “Unsubscribe” button in the first email or send a brief e-mail to info@platforma.international

2. What data do we collect?

We collect personal identification information (name, surname, organization, email).

3. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Platforma with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Subscribe for Platforma newsletter.
  • Register for Platforma online events.
  • Voluntarily complete post-event survey.

Platforma may also accidentally receive your data from the following sources:

  • Newsletter tool pixels.

4. How will we use your data?

Platforma collects your data so that we can:

  • Send you issues of Platforma Newsletter.
  • Invite you to Platforma events.

5. How do we store your data?

For the Newsletter and Newsletter Events we use third-party services: Airtable for subscription form, Mailerlite for newsletter distribution and Zoom for registration for events. The tool used for collection of subscription requests is Airtable. Airtable is an offer of Formagrid, Inc., registered 799 Market Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States. The data you provide upon subscription will be transferred and stored at Platforma account in Airtable. Airtable’s privacy program is designed for compliance with global privacy laws and regulations, including Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the United Kingdom GDPR. To send our newsletter we use the newsletter provider Mailerlite. Mailerlite is an offer of MailerLite Limited, an Irish registered company at 38 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 PR89 Ireland and MailerLite, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 548 Market St, PMB 98174, San Francisco, CA 94104-5401, United States. If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide when subscribing to the newsletter will be transferred to Mailerlite and stored there. For more information about Mailerlite and Mailerlite’s privacy policy, please visit: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy The newsletters of Platforma may contain so-called tracking pixels. A pixel-code is a miniature graphic that is embedded in e-mails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This allows statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded pixel-code, Platforma can recognize if and when an e-mail was opened by an affected person and which links in the e-mail were accessed by the affected person. For registration to online events we use Zoom. Zoom uses personal information in a lawful, transparent, and fair manner.
